Submission samples

QUALITY -> Submission samples

Samples taken from submissions (unpacked bins). Record size, colour and defects.

Select the packing site from the top left hand corner of the page (if you have more than one packing site).

Adding a sample

Click Add

  • Submission - select the submission. This populates the information on the right hand of the screen.
  • QC name - person sampling. QCs are maintained from QC Lots -> Setup menu -> QCs
  • # sampled - total number of fruit sampled.
  • Total Kgs - total weight of the sample.
  • Average size - calculated based on the weight and number in the sample.
  • Colour - by default, then number of fruit sampled is entered in Med. Enter the number of fruit that are High and Low colour, the Med value will change accordingly.
  • Comments - add any comments.

Defects tab

This page offers a list of defects that can be clicked (or touched) to count up your findings. Right click to decrease the count by 1. Defects can be maintained from Reject samples -> Setup menu -> Defects.

The toolbar allows you to filter for:

  • All defects,
  • Only Pest defects,
  • Only Grade defects,
  • Only defects that have been Found in this sample,
  • Only defects that have been marked as Favourites. Favourites are saved for all users using this screen.

Quantity multiplier - select how many findings are added (or removed) whenever you click a defect. Note that the quantity can never go below zero so if you need to quickly clear out a counter simple select the -10 option.

Tip

The Search box in the toolbar offers a very quick way to filter the defect list. Just type a couple of letters to target the defects you're looking for.
